The modern, fully equipped kitchen provides all the essentials needed to prepare snacks or full family meals fit for that special occasion. High quality crockery and kitchen utensils, from egg-cups to wine glasses are provided. The kitchen houses a cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, iron and kettle. Tea towels are provided. Please enjoy our welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk etc.

Our dining room is tastefully decorated and seats 6 comfortably around the large dining table. Patio doors lead out to the paved patio area overlooking the river and communal lawn . A small table and chairs are available to put out on the patio to catch the final rays of sunshine whilst you watch the swans on their way up stream.

A music centre and radio is available in the dining room to provide the appropriate ambience for your evening meal.

Whitby has numerous restaurants specialising in locally caught fish as well as international cuisine. In its narrow rambling streets can be found the type of old fashioned pub that have all but disappeared from many parts of Britain. Details of local restaurants and takeaways are available in the cottage if you wish to book a meal or have food delivered.
